Back in 2006, what began as a simple love for peanut butter turned into something much bigger. Thomas Mathew, who comes from a planter’s background, first started making peanut butter for himself. The rich, nutty taste soon caught the attention of family and friends, who began asking for jars of their own.
What started as small batches from a little farm based unit, fondly known in the village as the Kadala Factory, grew steadily through word of mouth.
Even as we grow and bring our peanut butter to homes across the country, one thing hasn’t changed the care and love in every jar. Each batch is made using the choicest peanuts, handpicked from farms in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. Slow roasted to perfection, they create the creamy, delicious taste you love, packed with wholesome protein and natural goodness.

Great peanut butter starts with great peanuts. That’s why we go straight to the source, the farms of Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. The peanuts grown there have a naturally rich sweetness which make them truly special. By sourcing directly from these farms, we stay connected to the ingredient that matters most.
Since 2006, we’ve believed that good things take time. While the world moves faster every day, we’ve chosen to keep doing things the slow way. Every peanut is hand-picked, slow-roasted and made fresh in small batches to bring out its deep aroma and natural flavor. We don’t add artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, or palm oil. Just wholesome peanuts and pure Natural goodness in every jar.
When we first started our littile farm based unit in 2006, peanut butter was something most people around us had never heard of. But they knew the smell of freshly roasted peanuts, and they knew the people making it. To the villagers, it wasn’t a brand or a factory. It was simply the Kadala Factory which means Peanut factory in Malayalam.
Twenty years later, the name has stayed. And so have the values behind it.
At the heart of the Kadala Factory are the chechis who have been with us from the very beginning. FOR NEARLY TWO DECADES, THESE REMARKABLE WOMEN HAVE POURED THEIR SKILL, PATIENCE, AND DEDICATION INTO EVERY BATCH, TREATING MELLOW NOT JUST AS A WORKPLACE, BUT AS FAMILY. THEIR HANDS HAVE SHAPED OUR JOURNEY AND THEIR LOVE FOR WHAT THEY DO REMAINS THE SECRET INGREDIENT IN EVERY SPOONFUL. What ingredients do you use?
Our natural peanut butter is made from high-quality peanuts. That’s it — no unnecessary additives.
Is there any added sugar or preservatives?
No. We keep it clean and simple, without added preservatives or artificial ingredients.
Why does oil separate in the jar?
Natural oil separation is completely normal and a sign of pure peanut butter. Just stir well before use to restore the texture.
